Full course description
This online course will introduce the fundamental concepts of collecting and analyzing survey data used by survey methodologists and data scientists. You will test hypotheses about the nature of human and social behavior and evaluate the influence of different error sources on the quality of data.
Who: Working professionals interested in developing and applying survey and data science methods.
What: This online course provides students with the fundamental skills they need to collect, analyze, and evaluate survey data.
When: This course is self-paced and can be completed in two days. Students will have 30 days to complete the course once they enroll.

Why: By the end of the course, participants will be able to 1) apply the key terminology used by survey methodologists and data scientists; 2) assess the quality of data from different sources based on a data quality framework; and, 3) select an appropriate data source to answer different types of research questions.
How: Survey analytics is a skill that is best learned through practice. This course is comprised of recorded video lectures and assignments designed to cover data preparation, data processing, data analysis, and data visualization.
